Why did people choose their school for this program? Why did people choose their school for this program?

"I picked this school because it was conveniently located. I feel I did not make the right decision as I regret attending the LPN program which I feel did not adequately prepare us for nursing."

What surprised people about the school they chose? What surprised people about the school they chose?

"I was surprised at the quality of instruction. The instructors were great nurses but poor teachers. They frequently read to us out of textbooks the majority of time and rarely used other teaching aids. They also focused on teaching the test rather than ensuring that we understood and could apply the material."

How do people describe their job hunt? How do people describe their job hunt?

"It was relatively easy to find a job as an LPN. I received a couple job offers within a few weeks. However, the work was limited to nursing homes or private duty nursing. It was difficult to find a job in a hospital or clinic which is what I preferred."
