Why did people choose their school for this program? Why did people choose their school for this program?

"It was located in the city in which my parents lived. Also tuition was 1/4 the price of a four year college."
"I chose KCC because it was close to home, which made it easy to go to classes. It also cost a lot less than going to a four year college or going to the mainland."
"I chose this route because I came from a large family, my parents insisted I do something to better myself but I had to pay for it myself. I thought I couldn't afford college so I chose this. I didn't know there were ways for me to go to college for a degree or I would have chosen that instead. The route I chose greatly limited what I could do in the medical field. I had wanted much more."

What surprised people about the school they chose? What surprised people about the school they chose?

"I loved my college experience. NAC was the perfect place for me. It had a small town feel but at the same time, I felt like the education I recieved was first class. The instructors took the time to ensure that I had a great grasp on the material and that I was prepared for entering the world of work. I was suprised to see that the instructors would truly take the time to meet my needs. I was also surprised the quality of education that I could recieve from a community college."
"I was surprised at how friendly and supportive the staff were. I expected it to be impersonal and have to do a lot of stuff on my own but everyone was helpful and willing to help me finish."
"I was surprised how fast-paced the program was. Unfortunately, it was so long ago I really can't answer this question about the college today."

How do people describe their job hunt? How do people describe their job hunt?

"I was able to volunteer at the local hospital while completing my clinicals. This enabled me to foster some relationships that ended up landing me a job."
"It was easy to find a job after I completed. There were a bunch of employers at school and they would hire people before we even finished. The economy was good and there was a shortage of nurses."
"I already worked for a hospital in town as a nurse's aide. When I graduated, I had a job as an LPN waiting for me. I started immediately."
