Why did people choose their school for this program? Why did people choose their school for this program?

"I really appreciated the in depth education that SHI provided to its students. There were opportunities for certification in neuromuscular work, TMJ disorder work, craniosacral, and MET work. I also liked the focus on using massage to assist in medical settings, and liked the emphasis on knowing the anatomy and physiology behind the study of massage. Lastly, I really appreciated the friendly nature of the students, staff, and faculty."
"It offered flexible classes in a technical career I wanted to persue"

What surprised people about the school they chose? What surprised people about the school they chose?

"I was surprised at how well received the school is within the larger medical community. When I mention this school at interviews, it is always positively received by the interviewer, even when I have interviewed out of the state."

"Once I started to attend I found the amount of different fields of study to be impressive for what I took as a smaller school. You can become everything from a massage therapist to a culinary arts master all under one roof."

How do people describe their job hunt? How do people describe their job hunt?

"I began looking for a job about one month prior to graduation. I knew that I wanted to work in a medical setting, with some freelance work on the side, so that is what I focused on during my job search. I applied to various hospitals, clinics, abuse shelters, and retirement communities, and was offered two different jobs within about 8 weeks of beginning my search. I started working a few days after obtaining my license."
"I found it to be very easy in my area to find a job. Living in central Florida means plenty of retired individuals in need of a good massage often."
