"I chose this college because it was the best local college by me. I believe that I made a great decision and would not change anything. I learned and had some great experiences in this school."
"The biggest reason I chose this college over others was the location. It was much closer to home for me, so I was able to keep my job and not have to move away. I also chose this school due to the price as well. It is much more affordable to stay in state than it would have been to go out of state."
What surprised people about the school they chose? What surprised people about the school they chose?
"I was surprised how many people failed out from my program. I found it amazing that this school was recommended by different doctors."
"Going to a community college, I thought that the teachers would not be as good as some university professors. However, my friends who went to a university had many complaints about their professors, such as the material not being clear, the professors being difficult to talk with, and overall just being unapproachable. I did not have any of those issues with my teachers. I've heard that this is likely because some professors are more invested in their research than their classes."
How do people describe their job hunt? How do people describe their job hunt?
"I was rough because not a lot of hospitals were looking for my field. I made a lot of contacts during my interviews, that landed me my first job. It was cool to not have to interview but be selected by someone instead."
"When I graduated, I had a little trouble finding work in the field. There are quite a few hospitals in my area, but there was not much work available. I applied for jobs online, went to the hospitals in person to put a name with my face, and I even offered to volunteer so I could at least get my foot in the door. Luckily, I know someone who works at a hospital, and they were able to keep me updated on job openings and recommended me for the job once I finally applied. I got an interview, and about a month later I was able to start my first job."
